Robert M. Peppercorn, M.D.
Robert M. Peppercorn, MD, the Medical Director, Owner, and Founder
of the Advanced Dermatology & Laser Center of Northern CA, received
his medical training at Stanford Medical Center and the Johns Hopkins
University School of Medicine. He completed his undergraduate work at
Harvard with a major in Biochemical Sciences. He has been certified by
the American Board of Dermatology since 1982.
Dr. Peppercorn maintained an appointment as a clinical assistant professor of dermatology and dermatologic surgery at Stanford for more than 12 years. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Throughout his career he has received numerous awards and honors for his
advanced work in dermatology and dermatologic laser surgery. He has also
been very active in the community and has volunteered and served on the boards of Gold
Country Bank, the Rideout Memorial Hospital Foundation, the United Way,
the American Cancer Society, and Yuba Community College Foundation,
He also wrote, hosted and produced a bi-weekly cable television program called
"The Medical Explorer" on Continental Cablevision from 1982 -
2006. Dr.
Peppercorn has been honored for his active support of Future Farmers of America and 4-H
for the past 25 years. He was also appointed by former Governor Deukmejian to serve on the Medical Board of California Medical Quality Committee.
He was voted Best Physician of Yuba and Sutter Counties for 2007 for the
second time and Best Cosmetic Specialist in Yuba and Sutter Counties for
2007 for the third time. Former Yuba City Mayor Hellberg presented Dr.
Peppercorn with a special Outstanding Citizen Award in 2006 for his more

Foy W. Cox, M.D. Foy W. Cox, M.D., trained at Stanford with Dr. Peppercorn during their dermatology residencies. As a board certified dermatologist since 1982, Dr. Cox shares Dr. Peppercorn's interests in laser surgery and cosmetic dermatology. He received his medical degree from the University of Kentucky and his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
Dr. Cox is a clinical assistant professor of dermatology and dermatologic surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. While in the U.S. Air Force, he served as the Dermatology Consultant to the USAFE Surgeon General. Now a Lt. Colonel in the Air Force Reserves, Dr. Cox was called back to active duty during Operation Desert Storm.
He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. He is also a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic and Restorative Surgery, American Society of Phlebectomy, California Medical Association, and the local medical society in which he served as president in 1995. Dr. Cox also enjoys treating severe skin cancers with the advanced
surgical technique called Mohs micrographic surgery.
Linda Nelson, PA-C
Linda Nelson, PA-C, the certified physician assistant, provides for expansion of the professional capabilities within the Group. Linda is trained and certified for a wide variety of medical responsibilities including (but not limited to): skin cancer, prevention and surgical treatment, removal of skin growths, and treatment of acne, rashes, and allergies. Linda is also highly skilled in laser treatment of facial blood vessels, brown spots, stretch marks, skin irregularities, and tattoos. She has also developed an expertise in treatment of leg veins by sclerotherapy. We are proud to announce that Linda Nelson, PA-C, has treated more Botox
and Restylane patients than any individual practitioner in the northern Sacramento Valley with over
2,000 treatments to her credit. She is a true Botox, Restylane, Juvederm and
Artefill expert. Linda is also the doctors' primary assistant during the liposuction and body sculpting procedures.
Linda Nelson, PA-C, graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas. While in Galveston, Mrs. Nelson obtained special training in dermatology and selected this as her field of emphasis after graduation. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
She is the first California medical practitioner to receive a master's degree in advanced dermatology physician assistant studies. A resident of Yuba City, she received the degree from the University of Nebraska. The new master's degree recognizes an advanced level of skill by physician assistants in dermatology, dermatologic surgery, and laser surgery.

Jason
Roddick, PA-C, began his educational journey shortly after
returning home from the Persian Gulf War as a member of the United States Marine
Corps. He attended Western Oregon University where he received both a bachelor
and master degree in Integrated Science. Jason then left the Oregon coast and
came back to his home state of California to attend the Western University of
Health Sciences where he achieved his second masters degree, this time in
Physician Assistant Studies. While at Western University Jason was highly
involved. He served as the University’s student body president and was awarded
the President’s Society Award from the president of the school for his academic
excellence and service to the institution.
Prior to his work in dermatology, he devoted part of his career to orthopedic
and general surgery. With an impressive educational background and love for the
health care field, Jason constantly strives to maintain his goal of enhancing
the well being and lives of others. He is accomplished in the diagnosis and
treatment of all skin diseases and allergies. He also enjoys all aspects of
skin surgery for skin cancer and moles as well as using the latest techniques in
cosmetic and laser dermatology to improve skin appearance. Jason has also had a
great deal of experience in Mohs micrographic surgery, Botox cosmetic treatment
and with injecting skin wrinkle fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm and Artefill.
Jason enjoys many outdoor activities such as golf, horseback riding, tennis, and
camping. He is also musically-inclined and has played the piano since the age
of 6. In his spare time, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife, Staci, and
their two miniature dachsunds, Trinity and Neo.
