I would like to thank Fremont-Rideout Hospitals for starting a community education series that focuses on medical topics. Last week, I attended a class on skin cancer. Dr. Robert Peppercorn's presentation was outstanding. The question-answer portion of the class was especially interesting. It is nice to have a setting where community members can ask medical professionals to respond to their questions.

I was pleased to learn that the health seminars are now being held monthly. It is nice to see our hospital invest in the community through health education. I am a firm believer that education is the key to prevention.
